Our fearless leader Todd has been shooting photography for more than 5 decades (yeah…he’s getting up there) and has built a team of personable (and younger) creatives to offer full service photography and video production. Meet the team who can bring your vision to life:
Todd: Director ⎸ Photographer
Todd is the Owner and Director for our company and has been creating images since he fell in love with photography 40 years ago. The first 10 years of his professional career began at an ad agency working with Mac Tools, Goodyear, LP Building Products and more. The incredible experiences he gained enabled him to launch out on his own in 1997.
Decades of shooting and directing commercial productions have made him a sought after expert as a visual story teller. His attention to detail in lighting, composition, and camera movement show up in every project he directs. What really rises to the top are his relational skills. Clients, crew, and talent (including amateur talent) instantly feel comfortable and are therefor more likely to be themselves. His work with a wide variety of clients including non-profits around the world has taught him to approach new challenges with wisdom and insight while never losing sight of the story.
Autumn: Producer ⎸ Photographer
As our Producer, Autumn is an incredibly organized go-getter who always manages to keep productions functioning at the highest level. She is clear in her communication, direct in her administration, and quick to anticipate challenges before they become problems. She has produced projects around the world for clients like Goodyear, TTElectronics, YoungLife, Sherwin Williams, and Comcast. Her attention to detail, desire for efficiency, and artistic understanding make her an incredibly effective person in this position.
With a BFA in Photography she is also an accomplished stills photographer whose book Portraits of a Pandemic and subsequent exhibition had made its way to multiple galleries and publications.
Michael: Director of Photography ⎸ Editor
Our Director of Photography, Michael Grimes not only makes sure everything looks fantastic, but that it works perfectly into the final edit. Once the audience has been determined and the story crafted, Michael works hard to ensure the visuals align seamlessly for the desired result. From frame rate to color grade, his technical insights and artistic talents push him to create visually stunning footage leading to powerful story telling edits.
Michael is an accomplished musician, artist and illustrator using much of his free time to study camera and lens techniques, write short films and work on passion projects.
Holly: Image Post Production ⎸ Photographer
Holly comes from an IT background with a passion for photography. At TBP, she has honed in expert-level skills in photography post production. She’s basically a photoshop wizard, though you’d never hear her say that. As a photographer, she has worked as a second shooter or lead shooter on various projects ranging from headshots to aerospace product shoots.
Julie: Assistant Producer ⎸ Photographer
Julie is the one who keeps us on track and in line when it comes to all things financial. Working with Autumn on quoting and budgeting, she manages contracts, invoicing and is our key point of contact when it comes to accounts payable and receivable.
Additionally, Julie is another in-house photographer, primarily responsible for headshots. Though you may find her on productions managing props, styling, or line producing.
Kyle: Assistant Grip & Gaffer ⎸ Studio Manager
As our studio manager, Kyle manages all things inside and outside of the building. He’s our go-to guy for set building and any studio rentals. He also works on productions as a grip, gaffer, and a times in the camera department.
